Diploma in Church Ministry (DCM)

Total: 87 Credit Hours (CH)

The Diploma in Church Ministry and Leadership is rooted in a commitment to equipping students with a deep understanding of the Bible and practical ministry skills through a transformative learning experience. The program aims to foster spiritual growth, critical thinking, and effective leadership in diverse church and community contexts.

This program prepares influential ministers who are not only well-versed in biblical texts but also compassionate individuals ready to meet the needs of others and positively impact their communities. It guides students to become committed to the Great Commission, dedicated to making disciples and expanding God’s Kingdom in the Arab world—whether through pastoral ministry, evangelism, or as devoted believers living out their faith in their workplaces and daily lives.

Upon completing the required coursework for the diploma, students will be able to:

  • Interpret and apply the Bible based on sound principles, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of biblical texts and theological concepts, and effectively utilizing them in teaching and preaching contexts.
  • Establish the Great Commission as a mindset and lifestyle for all church members.
  • Lead with integrity, demonstrating strong ethical standards and leadership qualities that inspire trust and collaboration within ministry settings, while planning, implementing, and evaluating church services.
  • Engage with the spiritual and emotional needs of the church, striving to meet them through pastoral care, discipleship, and counseling, fostering spiritual growth among believers.
  • Develop a personal plan for continuous learning and spiritual formation, demonstrating a commitment to lifelong growth.
