Certificate in Servant Leadership (CSL)

Total: 42 Credit Hours (CH)

This program emphasizes the importance of grounding leadership and ministry practices in a solid biblical foundation, while also drawing upon the evolving knowledge and expertise in management and leadership that arises from human experience and does not contradict Scripture. The goal is to provide a strong foundation for those who wish to participate in their church’s ministry in a biblical and practical manner, or who are committed to full-time church service. The program focuses on connecting theoretical knowledge with practical application in all areas of church ministry. Students learn how to apply concepts in real-world ministry contexts, adopting a servant leadership approach. The program leads students to discover that effective leaders prioritize their personal growth alongside the development of their skills.

1. Upon completion of the certification curriculum, students will be able to:

2. Reflect a solid biblical foundation in leadership and essential leadership skills in their ministry practice, including communication, decision-making, and conflict resolution, which can be applied in ministry settings.
